The logo of the Centenary of the Costa Brava represents a seashell that takes its inspiration from the relief forms found on archaeological remains with the aim of reflecting the current attributes associated with the Costa Brava name: nature (sea and mountains), movement, dynamism (wind, tramontane, sun, day and night circle), vitality, diversity, culture and tradition.
All of this is represented with an undulating and organic “C” that serves as both an initial and an element reflecting these attributes. The result is a graphic symbol with which we are visually familiar.
The chosen colours identify it with the sand and sun (yellow and red) and with the woodland and sea (green and blue), which are the main features of the Costa Brava landscape.
This manual lists the guidelines to be applied for the use of the set of graphic images created for the celebration of the centenary of the Costa Brava name. Before applying the logo we recommend downloading this document to help you choose the most suitable format.
